Welcome Steve! We look forward to your active participation...

Would you please shed some light on the potential discussion topics that
might be helpful to the under-resourced schools in their green building
efforts? Also fyi, so far only Second Nature folks are added to the group.
We will add our fellows and fellowship applicants once the discussion builds
up.

Thanks,
Ashka

Hi discussion group,

My suggestion for the "kick off topic" is that we start two threads simultaneously so that people can pick up on whatever interests them.

How about

Thread 1) Ukeme's idea to broaden the discussion started in the strategy paper about challenges and opportunities. We can introduce the challenges noted in the strategy paper, and then ask: How can we work together as a community to meet these challenges and make use of the opportunities? What are the opportunities? What have schools found to be good tools and resources?

Thread 2) Ashka's idea to focus on financing, which is a great topic of interest and a good way for us to spread the word about Kresge's grants.

Steve's suggestion will come into play when we are looking for schools interested in being pilots for the GB101 for Building Contractors activity later this summer.

Hi all,

Thanks for including me!

I think this will be a great resource – I followed the conversations
so far without too much trouble - I had a little trouble using my SN
email, and had Gaby invite me at my gmail address.

My suggestion for a topic to start seeding the conversation would be
“Integrated, whole-system design for green building” (or some such
title).

Thanks!
Georges
