Due to the state's severe budget reductions for the CSU, employees at CSU Bakersfield are being furloughed an average of two days per month without pay. To keep services available to students, the campus remains open and classes are in session. However, most offices have limited staffing due to the staggering of employee furlough days. Today is a furlough day for me. I will be out of the office until the next business day and will respond to your e-mail at that time. I apologize for any inconvenience.
