As you may know by now, the Campus Green Builder web site (http://
www.campusgreenbuilder.org) is a one-stop shop for financial,
expertise and technical resources on green building. We will regularly
offer updates on resources available through the Campus Green Builder
on this listserv.

Today we would like to highlight the Database of State Incentives for
Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE). The DSIRE site (http://
www.dsireusa.org) provides a list of federal incentives and exemptions
for sustainable projects as well as a database of state-by-state
funding/incentive opportunities among other things.

Most government funded initiatives have a limited time span so it’s
good to stay alert and visit these sources frequently. In addition to
the DSIRE site, we recommend that you explore the financial section of
the Campus Green Builder site (http://www.campusgreenbuilder.org/) for
additional state specific resources.

Campus Green Builder offers various resources. The financial section
can be searched and sorted by state in order to identify opportunities
in your region. You can also be directed to federal and state
incentives outlining how to obtain tax credits and deductions,
government grants, as well as education and training in green/
sustainable fields.

If you find an opportunity that you think you may take advantage of or
are currently benefiting from, please share your experience with the
group by hitting “reply” to this email message. Your suggestions will
assist the 50 or so members of this listserv at colleges and
universities across the country, and we will add your resource to the
Campus Green Builder to share it with the 1000 and more visitors to
the site that click on it each week.

Thank you!
