The Facts.

Toys can be made of many materials. Recently, there have been issues
raised about the level of phthalates in sex toys. These chemicals are
used to make PVC more flexible, but have been linked to hormonal and
reproductive problems, liver and kidney disease. Although research is
limited to date, it's worth protecting yourself by using a condom with
any sex toys. And it's imperative that you do so if you're sharing your
toys or using them with a partner, as it's possible to transmit STIs
through toys so users must be careful to ensure hygene rules are
followed.

On the site under the buyers guide is a link that takes you to a report
from the Daily Mail newspaper

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/health/healthmain.html?in_article_id=413581&in_page_id=1774&in_a_source=

this also outlines numerous other health issues concerning pvc
materials.

It's good that a site like this advises women to use condoms when using
a toy.

Has anyone else read similar things?
