Hey i have read about accuatne in the past & have developed a notion
that accutane is not very safe for acne when under certain conditions
physical conditions like pregnancy etc.
I am afraid to recommend it to anyone or am finding it difficult to use
it in my family ...
Could you suggest any alternates?

Accutane A drug related to Vitamin A, is used for a very severe case of
acne, called cystic acne. It is effective in decreasing oil secretions
in the sebaceous glands. The major side effects are chapped lips and
dry skin. As Accutane may cause birth defects, so always avoid using
it on pregnant woman. This medication should be used with a
clinician's supervision .
Acne can be controlled by proper cleansiness non-prescription and/or
prescription drugs.
It does mot prevent acne but can help control it.However,
nonprescription medications that help prevent and heal acne are
available.
Three effective ingredients contained in nonprescription drugs to
combat acne are benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and salicylic acid.
