I have a Acer TravelMate model 5510 and I want to back-up my system  using the back-up wizard.  It tells me  that I need a 'floppy' disk as well as the CD-RW disk.  However, my PC does not have a floppy disk drive.  Can I use a 'memory stick' instead ??
Regards,  Anthony.

I would imagine you'd be able to.  Just tell it which drive to write to.

Tony,

I have a feeling you have never been to the Acer update site. The UK one would bring you to this but if you search Acer.com it should offer the correct sight for your country. It sounds as though you have an XP version operating system. Might be worth going into your system and creating a Recovery disc.

By rights it should be fine to use a usb stick as long as you tell it to act as a disc.
