My picture book "The Crystal Heart: A Vietnamese Legend" is once again available, in a 25th Anniversary Edition. In this poignant and beautifully illustrated legend, a young lady discovers that appearances can deceive, but the heart speaks true.

Publishers Weekly called this a "haunting tale of unrequited love," while the Bank Street College of Education listed it among the 1999 Best Children's Books.
