Sorry about the hiatus in Nanocluster events.  With the pandemic we are forced to curtail our meetings until it is deemed really safe.

Product Line Manager - (2103272)

Description

 

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the ICPS Division (ICPSD) as Product Line Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. As a PLM, you will have opportunities to drive the definition of strategically important and visible product lines by developing product strategies, product roadmaps, and business cases, and work with various teams including design, test, characterization, product engineers and applications to develop highly differentiated and innovative products for industrial, automotive, cloud, telecom and other market segments.

 

The ICPSD is a market leader in its target markets with an exciting strategy and roadmap. A key growth-engine are the eFuse and more advanced overcurrent, overvoltage protection schemes. Other products in the Division include EEPROMs, logic devices, gate drivers, optocouplers, ESD/surge protection, and RF discretes. The business is poised for rapid margin and revenue growth in the coming years.

Performance Objectives:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Set strategy and define/drive roadmaps for overcurrent protection, power switching and other power management applications
  • Define products based on a system/applications understanding, with help from FAEs and BU applications engineers.
  • Generate customer interest through white papers, demos, product previews, customer visits, Sales/FAE training etc.
  • Set revenue targets & drive segment opportunities and design wins for year 2-3 revenue by influencing internal and extended teams (including Sales)
  • Perform deep competitor analysis and develop improved solutions for power management products
  • Work with design team to create innovative products that provide cost effective solutions to customers
  • Work with project leaders and other functions to drive new product development
  • Support adjacent segments/markets through when necessary

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in system/application engineering or marketing with a background in analog and power circuits and ICs
  • Experience in technical marketing or product-line management
  • BSEE required
  • Proven track record of defining strategy/roadmaps and generating customer interest and revenue
  • Proven track record of effective problem solving and good engineering judgment
  • Experience in IEC, UL or ISO standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of enterprise/cloud systems, industrial systems or automotive systems is a plus
  • Management/leadership experience is a strength
