POC:
The POC will be a limited function set-up of the base commercial
software, configured to validate the desired proof points. In order
to accomplish this, the proof points must be mutually agreed to prior
to the start of the Planning Phase. Typically, no customizations will
be included in a POC unless mutually agreed to and appropriately
estimated and scheduled.

Pilot (CRP):
A PILOT(CRP) is a functional solution implemented in a lab or test
environment. It will have functionality that is easily configured or
tailored within the commercial software. Not customization will be
included. The purpose of a CRP is to verify the commercial software
can be configured or tailored to meet the required functionality, to
assess how easy or difficult customization is likely to be, and to
help manage stakeholder/user expectations for what they will get off-
the-shelf, what will require configuration or tailoring, and what will
require customization.

PROTOTYPE:
Prototype will be a limited function set-up of the base commercial
software, configured to validate required functionality. It may also
include very limited customizations needed to prove the commercial
software can be extended or integrated in the desired manner.
