Dates in Axapta

Hi Knowledge Bankers,

While using batch processing, Trade agreements discounts in Axapta
3.0,
it is found to take the machine date into effect for
calculation/running.

Whereas there's an option of system date as well.

Need light on the usage of system date in calculation of the above.
