AOS CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM

Hi,

I have an error while connecting to an AOS server running in a
different location on a public ip.

The system gives the following error:"No Microsoft Axapta Object
Servers could be located using the current client configuration"

The following setup is done:
1) No firewall settings on the AOS server (Windows200server-SP4)
2) No firewall on the axapta client (Windows-xp)
3) Using the axapta client configuration utility (with or without
fat client), in the database, i give the public ip for SQL and get
the database list from AOS server.
4) client is having the same subnet mask as the server.

Please suggest the solution.
