In addition to our regular catchup and discussion, we are going to have an invited speaker at this meeting namely Kera Magarill, Behavioral Health Specialists for Older Adults and People with Disabilities of Washington County, Oregon.   She is going to talk on topic of  Mental Health Matters for Older Adults --  discuss how prolonged isolation and stress can have a negative impact on our well-being.  Taking care of your mental health is an important part of self-care now more than ever.  She would provide tips on taking care of your mental health and learn about resources and support systems in the tri-county area.

Here is the zoom meeting link.  I may not be able to join.  However, Narendra Bhai has graciously agreed to coordinate the meeting. 

In addition to the regular agenda for medical and other updates, some of topics for discussion could include:

  1.  Looking into the future for the group (changing the day of the meeting to weekend in facilitate others who work during weekdays)
  2. Inspire additional members on this "google group" to sign up through the website
  3. Planning and organizing a short course by Madhu Mehta on finance management
  4. Any other topic of interest  

So, please join to share your thoughts and provide your input to take the association to next level. Thanks.
