ASA Deadlines and Information

Dear Caucus Members,
Just a reminder that the deadline for the 2012 ASA is approaching; all
panel proposals must be uploaded by midnight this Thursday (1/26).
The caucus is, apparently, able to sponsor one session, and that
entitles that session to automatic acceptance on the program. At the
meeting in Baltimore, I mentioned that I would solicit nominations and
then we would put the proposed panels to a vote. If you would like
your panel to be considered, please let me know today.
My inclination, however, is to sponsor the roundtable on Vieques that
Víctor M. Torres-Vélez, Marie Cruz-Soto, Robert Rabin, and Bonnie
Donohue have been putting together. Given the location of the
conference and the significance of the issue, I think it makes sense
as a caucus for us to support this roundtable.
