 Illinois ARES HF Net Sunday 01 SEP 2013

The Illinois ARES HF Net will meet Sunday, 01 SEP 2013 at 1630 local time on 3.905 MHz, primary, 7.230 Mhz, alternate frequencies.  All Illinois ARES and RACES members are invited and encouraged to participate as are all Illinois Section Field Organization appointees (OES, ORS, OO, etc.) and Section cabinet members.

 

DEC’s are expected to attend or have a surrogate designated to represent the district and perform the county roll call.

 

NCS will be W5DTR.  My wire antennas for both 3.5 and 7 Mhz bands are down.  Termites finally got the best of my ‘antenna tree’ and it, along with a couple of it’s friends, were taken out of the yard this week.  I’ll be working to get lines over new supports for a different antenna system between now and the SET.  Watch for info on the SET to be released via this reflector and on the www.ILARES.org website this week.
