UPDATED ARTICLE --The Killing of Animals at the NYC Pound Violates Animal Rights

The heralded Queens "shelter" began killing animals on its first day.It was written about in a NY Post article titled "Filthy, cramped conditions at $75M, NYC-funded animal shelter persist a year after Post investigation."  (NY Post 7/6/25). The egregious killing of thousands of innocent animals continues unabated, and the complete lack of transparency and accountability persist.  The moral and psychological issues I discuss in my article below remain devastatingly unchanged.   DT
