Special invite to Mother Coders post pilot celebration!

Hello amazing women!

It's been a while since we've met, but I hope to see some of you soon either at the event below or something else one of us sure to be cooking up!

I'd like to extend an invitation to you all to learn more about Mother Coders, a tech training program that I am starting that onramps moms to technical careers. In Feb of this year, Mother Coders completed our inaugural class with 6 moms over 6 weeks, teaching web development skills and also introducing them to the tech ecosystem. As women in SV I know you can appreciate the importance of including mothers in this sector. 

Now that the pilot is over we wanted to celebrate and showcase the mom's work!  So you're all invited to our party on Saturday June 7, in Potrero Hill, 10:30-1pm. Use the code "MOCOFRIEND" to receive $10 off.

Our pilot class was a tremendous success, thanks in large part to your generous support.  Here's what we did together:    6 moms successfully completed our pilot - a 100% completion rate! With a mix of aspiring web designers, web developers, and technology consultants, all the moms are proceeding toward more technical careers. Here's a sneak peek of a promo video we've put together! (We plan to show this to the world next week.) 11 female technologists visited our class to share their experience! We brought in founders and product managers, designers and engineers - 5 of whom are moms themselves! 6 websites were launched by moms in our pilot class! From a food blog aggregator to a wardrobe consulting site to personal portfolios, our moms have a wealth of ideas about what they can now build. Check out their class portfolio!   NOW LET'S PARTY! As a thank you for making this pilot possible, we're planning a post-pilot celebration for June at NextSpace Potrero Hill. We hope you'll come meet the moms from our pilot class and learn more about their experience, and see their websites in action. Please look out for an invite.
