The Impact of Immigration Reform on South Asian Communities

July 24, 2013

6:30 - 9 PM

India Community Center

 525 Los Coches Street

Milpitas, CA

Join us for a discussion on immigration reform and its impact on South Asian Americans. As you are probably aware, comprehensive immigration reform has taken hold of a daily dialogue in our nation and in Congress. Currently, the debate includes a variety of possible changes, many of which uniquely impact South Asian Americans. At this town hall, we will discuss how South Asian Americans are impacted by immigration reform and all the different ways to raise our voices on the issue.

Refreshments will be served.

As this event is during Ramadan, iftar will be served at approximately 8:30 pm

South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) is a national, nonpartisan, non-profit organization that elevates the voices and perspectives of South Asian individuals and organizations to build a more just and inclusive society in the United States.
