Hello Folks,

Today, Monday, November 18, is a crucial day in the ongoing fight for Mr. Singh and his family to stay together.  Mr. Singh has a court mediation today where his attorney will be asking ICE to agree to exercise prosecutorial discretion and administratively close Mr. Singh’s case.

We urgently need hundreds of calls to ICE TODAY urging ICE to agree to grant prosecutorial discretion in Mr. Singh’s mediation. We ask you to please CALL ICE TODAY, November 18, AND TOMORROW, November 19,  to ensure that the Singh family is permanently reunited so that they are all able to stay home here in the United States.

Below is the phone call script. PLEASE CALL BOTH NUMBERS TODAY AND TOMORROW.  Please help spread the word and share widely.

Please Call ICE On November 18-19

to Permanently Reunite the Singh Family and

Enforce Its Own Parental Interests Directive!

John Sandweg

Acting ICE Director

(202)732-3000

Leslie Ungerman

SF Chief Counsel

(415) 705-4604

“Hi my name is ____. I’m calling to ask ICE to agree to reopen and administratively close Gurmukh Singh’s case, A# 077-432-044, under Director Sandweg’s August 2014 parental interests directive.  Although Gurmukh was released from detention after 5 ½ months, he still faces imminent deportation and separation from his family. I strongly urge you to exercise prosecutorial discretion during Gurmukh’s November 18 court mediation and agree to reopen and administratively close his case. Gurmukh is the parent and primary caretaker of two minor U.S. citizen children and his elderly parent, is married to a U.S. citizen, and is a contributing member to the community. His deportation will cause emotional, psychological, and financial hardship to his children and family. Please do not let the Singh family be separated. I urge you to administratively close Gurmukh’s case. Thank you."

I’ve also attached a jpg version of the script, please share the facebook event or image on your social media. The pdf version is also included if you would like to print hard copies. We want to ensure that we are able to make as many calls as possible so that the Singhs can finally move on with their lives and achieve their dream of family unity. Those calls will make a difference in the life of Mr. Singh and his loving family.
