Celebrating Pastor Steve

October is clergy appreciation month and the 14th is Pastor Steve’s birthday. Here’s two great opportunities to show your love to PS.
Every year Pastor Steve makes a birthday wish for the congregation. Instead of gifts he encourages a donation toward a new project at All Peoples. It tends to be focused on a "want" not a "need." In years past this has included a new set of pew Bibles and the multicultural icons around the altar.
This year PS has set of goal of raising $4,500 for a new mural in the sanctuary. While the current mural is an iconic symbol of the congregation, it is also a canvas that can breathe new life into the worship space.
Once the funds are raised, a call for proposals will go out to the artistic community of Milwaukee. The mural will have a commission of $4,000. Proposals will go before the congregation for a vote. The remaining $500 will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place submissions in recognition of their efforts.
