As part of All Peoples' revival week, Rev. Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou is leading a training on direct action in the work for justice. Rev. Sekou, a St. Louis native,
has been a leader in the Ferguson Uprising, working with faith leaders and community members in the wake of Michael Brown’s death.
This training will look at tactics for bringing about change, lifting up lessons learned from a career in justice work and how Ferguson is changing the landscape of direct action and civil disobedience in America.
The free training is Friday, September 11 at 1pm at the Harambee Campus of All Peoples Church.
Rev. Sekou is also the preacher for the Friday evening Revival starting at 6pm.
