Hi Jill, do you remember Debbie Spinelli? she teaches first grade up in Apple Valley. my story is a long one but basically if you want to make any money working in substance abuse its usually in the medical field.  Julie

I haven't kept in touch with very many classmates I'm afraid to say.  I could probably find a half dozen people if I tried... which I intend to do.  Anna Sorenson (her married name escapes me right now) is in my neighborhood.  And I live near (and have contact with) Melinda Bone's mom and Mark Taylor's parents.  I also see Mike Anderson online occasionally.  There are others I will invite too.  I'm sure by 2009 the party will be HUGE!

 

I'm living in Alta Loma again, and working in Monterey Park.  I ride Metrolink every day with thousands of other crazy people who travel too far to work.  But --- whatcha gonna do? 

 

Next week I'm going to be cruising in Alaska with my Mom and my 9 year old niece Melanie.  I cannot wait!

 

It's so good to hear all the chatter here.  I hope we can get more people interested... and soon!

How did u get into what u do? I love beeing a teacher. Ive done it for 20 yrs. Not getting rich, but i like it.

Its been great talking 2 people since this reunion planning started. I cant wait 2 c lots of r friends.

I was asked why I work in a methadone clinic. I am a therapist who works with heroin addicts who are trying to stop using heroin, or other opiates in pill form. and I also have not used any substances or drank for almost 15 years I hope this

Ha Ha: I have my masters in marriage and family therapy and work in a methadone clinic with people who are addicted to opiates. However you would be amazed at how many doctors, dentists, and nurses are addicts. Julie
