Some people mentioned that seeing photos might be nice.

This is a test of what Google provides. I think it's too much work for
the end product. My wife uses peekaboo and I've looked at scrapblog.
I know there are other possibilities like flickr. Deby suggested
creating a yahoo group.

I'll check out scrapblog and let you know what I think...

Photobucket also allows people to upload pictures, but I don't believe it allows for discussion.  Yahoo groups allows for discussion and pictures in an album form so each person could create their own album.  I have no idea how easy or hard it is to set up, but my guess is it's not very difficult, as there are a lot of people doing it and a lot of groups.  I know it's easy to participate and that when someone posts something to the group, you get an e-mail.
