Detroit Lindy Workshop passes increase Oct.1 + US Open looking for competitors

The Detroit Lindy Workshop is just two weeks away featuring 2 days of
classes taught by Skye Humphries, Naomi Uyama, Jon Ross, Sue Gar and
Paulette Brockington. Daytime classes will be held at the
International Institute, 111 E. Kirby in Detroit. Weekend passes are
$109 until Oct. 1, $119 after. Saturday and Sunday day passes may also
be purchased. Individual classes are $15 each.

Saturday night's party will be at Northern Lights Lounge just a couple
of blocks away from our hotel, the St. Regis. Doors open at 8pm for a
class taught by Jon and Sue. This class, as well as the party, are
free for weekend pass holders. We ask that you arrive before 9:30pm to
secure a place to sit. The class is $5 for walk-ins. At 9:30 the bar
charges a $5 cover to enter. PASS HOLDERS come early! The bar's
kitchen is closed on Saturday nights. So eat before you come. Live
music will be provided by the Chris Canas Blues Revolution from 10pm
to 1am. There will be DJ music by Paulette between sets and after the
band stops playing.
