Register today for the Detroit Lindy Workshop weekend – only $89. On
August 1 the price goes up to $99.

Join attendees from Detroit, Okemos, Ann Arbor, Windsor ON, Kitchener
ON, Toronto ON, London ON and other parts of the Great Lakes when Skye
Humphries and Naomi Uyama come for their first Detroit Lindy Workshop,
Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9.

Skye Humphries is a versatile & creative dancer. Teaching with dance
champion, Naomi Uyama they offer a variety of class leading to fun,
energetic variations to try on the dance floor.

They are joined by bonus class teachers: Jon Ross and Sue Gar who have
created their own style called Club Swing. Club Swing allows you to go
to more clubs to dance more styles of music and most importantly look
good while you’re doing it. And Paulette Brockington known for her
musicality and versatility, teaching blues.

Want to stay in the D? We have a group rate at the Hotel St. Regis,
3071 W. Grand Blvd., about a mile from our workshop location at the
International Institute, 111 E. Kirby at John R., Detroit 48202. You
can also come in a day early at the same rate. If you are and you’d

Our rate is $79 a night + tax per single/double. If you’d like a suite
they will be $129 a night.

Amber Housr, 7012 E. 9 Mile Rd. in Warren. Tickets are $12($10
students). Hosted by Terri Bauman Houlton you’ll dance to music
provided by DJs Paulette Brockington, Alan Contino, Paul Carryer and
Loney Charles. The evening starts at 7pm with a dance class. Come
dance and help Kriss defray the cost of some medical bills.
