Three swimmers, Rick Abbott, Daniel Blake and Ruth Carter, from SWAM represented Alaska Masters Swimming in Budapest. A fourth swimmer from Alaska attended the meet, however chose to represent his native South Africa. All three swimmers set new state long course meters (LCM) records.
Rick Abbott (60-64) was on the podium for all five of his events, setting new state records in all of them.
