Organization Description:
AroGyaan, a Society registered under
the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act is working with the International
Training and Education Center on Health (I-TECH) to support the development of
HIV/AIDS care and treatment training initiatives in India through the I-TECH
India Project-AroGyaan.
Position Description: AroGyaan
is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer that will oversee and
coordinate Monitoring and Evaluation activities for all AroGyaan programs. The
M&E officer will coordinate with internal and external technical leads to
implement M&E frameworks for all programs and be responsible for leading
and overseeing the process of data collection and analysis, ensuring that
technical leads have the information they need to make sound programmatic
decisions. The M&E officer will also compile and analyze project generated
data to ensure that both the process and outcomes from AroGyaan’s best
practices are documented and shared. The M&E officer will respond to
AroGyaan and I-TECH Headquarters’ requests for information and ensure
programmatic reporting needs are met. The main role of the M&E officer is to
ensure the implementation and quality of M&E activities across the program.
Qualifications:
·
M.Sc. (Statistics)
or M.P.H.
·
3-5 years of
experience working in development sector
·
Experience in
implementing M&E frameworks for development programs
·
Experience in managing data bases
·
Experience in
qualitative and/or quantitative methods of data collection and analysis
·
Proficient in
software programs such as Word, Excel, Access and SPSS
·
Training or
capacity building experience in development sector
·
Demonstrated
capacity to pull together progress reports from multiple sources of information
·
Experience in operations
research projects preferred
