Upcoming AG Bell Events

Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you know about some very exciting events we have coming up! Please see the attached flyers for more information, and contact me if you have any questions.
1. AG Bell Utah Lagoon Day 9/25/10
a. Where: Lagoon! AG Bell has the Aspen Terrace Pavilion Reserved, so you can bring a cooler and keep it there.
b. When: Saturday, 9/25. Gates open at 10:30 a.m.
c. Who: You and your whole family!
d. Ice cream will be served at 2:30 p.m. at the Aspen Terrace. This will be a chance for you to chat with other families. Frightmares is going on, and the park is open until 10:00 p.m.
e. Cost: We have been given coupons that allow up to 8 people to enter the park for $28 each (that’s about $14 off the price of a regular pass). You can get coupons from me (kat...@usdb.org, (801) 464-2036), or from Heather Frost (801) 559-8397 or email: heatherf...@hotmail.com
2. Walk4Hearing 10/9/10
a. Where: Sugarhouse Park, Salt Lake City
b. When: Saturday, 10/9. Registration starts at 9:00, the walk starts at 10:00.
c. What: You can create a team and raise money, part of which will go to AG Bell Utah. This is what we are doing instead of the Talk, Walk, Run in May.
d. How: Go to http://hlaa.convio.net/site/TR?fr_id=1810&pg=entry to see the Page for the Walk4Hearing event in Salt Lake City.
i. Create a team with your child and other family members or friends.
ii. Join the AG Bell Utah Alliance (you have the option to say which organization you want to support when you create your team). A portion of the funds raised will go to the HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America), and a portion will go to our local chapter of AG Bell! This will help us fund future activities, conferences, and scholarships.
iii. Ask friends and family to donate! It is tax-deductible and for a very good cause. You can donate online, or take money via checks with a pledge form, which is available on the SL Walk Page.

3. Cochlear Music Event, November 19-20. Details to come.
