Sorenson Communications has a product, a captioned phone, for people who can speak on the phone but need help understanding. It is called CaptionCall. I have one, and am very pleased with it. They have been promoting it here in Utah, and have just announced that the CaptionCall FREE promotion ends on March 31, 2011.
 
It will then start selling at an "Introductory offer" rate (I think it will be $99.00, regular retail price is $149.00). This is a ONE time licensing fee and the customer never has to pay for repairs.  CaptionCall will always service the phones at no charge to the customer.

Of course, anyone who gets in on the free promotion (before March 31st, 2011) will never have to pay anything.

I don't work for them (I don't have time to) but it's such a good product from a strong local company, that I don't want any of you to miss out on it if you would benefit from it.

You will need to call 1-877-557-2227 or email them at sup...@captioncall.com to request the phone.  Tell them there is no promotion code and you heard about it from Kathy Evans.  This will waive the charges.  As the phones become avaliable, they will contact you and a trainer will bring the phone to your home and teach you how to use it.  The phone requires both a land line and high speed internet.  Please share this information with anyone who might be interested!
