Letters, addresses and a call to arms

We're coming a long way, and we're getting our protests heard by more
and more people. In time I'm sure we'll get this issue the kind of
attention it deserves.
Below is a list of email addresses of international publications that
we must write to next.
This is how I want you all to do this:
Construct and well-written, well-thought out letter that brings
attention to the phenomenon of internet censorship in Pakistan. Express
your feelings regarding internet censorship in Pakistan, recently
manifested as the ban on the whole of blogspot. Write from your heart
and your head. Put all your thoughts out there in the email and declare
your protest to the situation.
After writing this ONE letter, save it. This will be the same letter
you'll send to all the different email addresses that I'll be providing
here on a regular basis. You don't have to write the letter again, just
make sure the first time you write it, it is generic enough to be sent
in an identical form to any news publication, columnist or editor. This
way, you will not be burdened by having to write the same letter over
and over again, and I am hoping that this will encourage greater
numbers of people in this group to join the email campaign. After
writing the first letter, you can do your part to fight the ban by
coming in here everyday, getting the new email addresses and sending
the same letter again. (After about a week of doing this, we might want
to consider writing a second letter to all the publications again
asking them if they followed up on the story, but that is for another
date.)
While I won't tell you what to write, please keep two important
following points in mind:
1. With every email, you must leave your real name, your real address
and phone number. If you do not, your mail will likely not be treated
seriously. You have to give them the ability to confirm that the email
came from a real person and not some spambot.
2. Do NOT send the letters in one mass email, ie, don't just CC all the
addresses I give you in one email and blast if off. Send the letters to
each one individually.
Please... after you finish sending the letter, go to the ' "I wrote a
letter" thread' and bump it letting people know that you're doing
your part and sending letters. Let us know how many letters you sent,
and if you can, to whom you sent them. This will encourage EVERYONE in
the group to participate in the letter campaign and will also give us
an excellent idea of how many letters of protest are going out there
because of this group. I hope very soon, we'll all be able to see
hundreds of letters blasted out by the members here everyday. Believe
me, with such focus and unity, our voice WILL be heard, and a change
WILL follow. No one individual letter will change anything, but if all
of us do our bit, then I'm sure the results of our collective efforts
will surprise us all.
I hope to see dozens of *bumps* tomorrow in the " 'I wrote a letter'
thread"!

put through a simple anti-spam device we're all familiar with.
