Hi All

Apologies for cross-posting to those who already got the
re-re-reforwarded message below from elsewhere, but it directly
addresses a topic already discussed on this list. The manual described
is remarkably well written, in simple language, with a clear and
intuitive structure. As to its technical accuracy, I am not competent
to assess it, but I'd tend to trust it because it was posted to
bytesforall and pakistanictpolicy mailing lists.

The PDF version is a bit heavy - 3.9 Mb - for download with a slow
modem connection. But it might be possible for people with faster
connections to download it, and then to share it with small groups of
people via USB keys etc., if the web version should get blocked. It
could also be used for "cascading" training in successive small
groups: not much point in just randomly distributing circumventing
software if people don't know how to use it. "Give someone a fish and
he'll be able to eat one meal, teach him how to fish and he'll be able
to feed himself always."

Best

Claude

hi,

Just to let you know we put out a new manual "How to Bypass Internet
Censorship"
http://en.flossmanu als.net/Circumve ntionTools

You can also download a free pdf here or buy the book :
http://www.lulu. com/content/ 4904448

Its focused on bypassing internet censorship with free software. We
wrote the manual in 5 days using the Book Sprint model intially
developed by Tomas Krag and the FLOSS Manuals toolset.

So thats zero -> Book in 5 days.

For those that will be at the Aspiration Dev summit, I'll be there doing
two sessions :
