Good evening, Dog Park Friends!
Just wanted to pass along the following:
1) There will be NO MEETING tomorrow!! We are postponing the Aug meeting til Sept, when we will be planning for Barktoberfest (Oct. 9!) If you would like to get involved, please let me know and I will hook you up with Gail, our volunteer coordinator :)
2) The City will host its Pooch Paddle at the Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center - Tue, Aug 24, 6pm – 8pm. Cost: $5/dog.
3) There will be a special Grand Opening ceremony at the Dog Park - Fri, Sept. 3, at Noon! Supporters are invited to bring their pooch and a spare leash for a special "leash" ribbon cutting. It will be a historic occasion and great photo op - join us if you can!!
Meantime, stop by and check out the progress! Parking lot and fence posts are in - it's starting to take shape - YAY :)
In anyone has Qs about any of the above, please let me know.
