Hello Dog Park fans!
Just wanted to share some highlights ...
City's Progress Report
Dog Park passes are selling, the Waste Tank is being installed, the Water Line run, and both the Drinking Fountain and Disposable Bags have been ordered. The Fence, Parking Lot and Trail to Entrance are on track with a target installation date of mid-August. While we don't have a firm date, we're looking at a Grand Opening of late Aug or early Sept. We're also looking for a good source for donated sand for our "beach" area at the pond ... ideas anyone??
Ankeny Bark-N-Brew - June 26!
Our popular dog party returns to Chips on June 26 :) Feel free to forward, print & share the attached flyer. This year retriever demos will join agility demos, along with other canine activities, services & prize drawings ... It's a great time - hope you can join us! We will be needing several volunteers as well :)
Canine Olympics - June 5!
Just a friendly reminder that Canine Craze's annual Canine Olympics is this Saturday! See if your dog can medal in Hot Dog Diving, Tunnel Relays, Ball Toss, Bowling, Pooch Smooch, Fear Factor Feast, Pie Eating and more ... 1st place winners can compete in the Iron Dog Contest to win a year's worth of Free Agility Classes!! Pay $15 admission at the door to compete in as many classes as you wish! For more info: www.CanineCraze.com
