Good evening!
Another beautiful January day ... hope some of you made it out to the Dog Park!
 
We will be having our first meeting of the year on Monday, January 23, 6:30 p.m. at Chips Restaurant.
 
If you have input re: the Dog Park ... we wanna hear from YOU!
Please plan to join us, or forward your comments before the Jan. 23 mtg.
 
Highlights on our Agenda:
 

• 2012 Events - proposed dates: June 9 - Open House at Dog Park; June 23 - Bark & Brew at Chips; Oct. 13 - Barktoberfest at Chips
• New Events - Breed Rescue events (at Park)? Dog Park Etiquette workshops (at Canine Craze)?
• Park Policies - issues; proposed Ambassador group to spot check tags, etc.
• Capital Improvement priorities/Fundraising ... ??
• Other - 2012 Flower Bed volunteers, etc.

 
Remember - the $5 discount on 2012 Dog Park passes has been extended through Feb. 29! Tell your friends! :)
 
And if you haven't already, please RSVP to me by Friday, Jan. 20, so I have an approx head-count for Monday.

·         Dogs with no tags – random spot-ck; make apps available on-site

·         Aggressive dogs – education; develop online incident report

·         Ambassador Group – guidelines/training; helpful resource; spot check in teams, etc.

·         Signage – propose new signs with symbols; group fewer “rules” on each; strategic placement

·         Online Incident Report – in works for 2012

Capital Improvement Projects

·         Gravel Walking Path @ perimeter in spring 2012; promote benches once installed

·         Pond – additional sand as needed
