Dog Park Update & Photo Op Friday, April 13 @ Noon!

Greetings, everyone!
Hope you've enjoyed a mild winter and warm spring at the Ankeny Dog Park!
 
A few updates:
 
1) We have formed a new volunteer Ambassador group to monitor park activity and assist guests. If you'd like to get involved, please let me know. Part of our role includes spot-checking for 2012 tags!
 
2) This year's improvement project will be the addition of a walking trail some time this spring. Stay tuned!
 
3) John Deere Works will be presenting us with a $500 gift - Friday, April 13 at Noon at the Dog Park! If you are available, please join us for the photo opp! If you can bring your dogs, great. If not, "just people" are welcome too ;) 
 
4) Save these dates for Dog Park events: 

• June 9 - Open House
• June 23 - Bark & Brew
• Oct. 13 - Barktoberfest

WHOOPS!! My apologies for another email ... in my excitement re: the John Deere donation I wrote the wrong date ... it's NEXT Friday the 20th at Noon!
