2022 ACT Women's and Girls' Chess Championship -  Sunday 11 September

In January 2022, FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich announced 2022 as FIDE's Year of the Woman in Chess. To support this initiative, the ACTJCL is pleased to announce that the 2022 ACT Women's and Girls' Chess Championship will be taking place on Sunday 11 September. The tournament is open to females of all ages and abilities and there will be cash prizes! More details can be found below.

2022 ACT Junior Chess Championships - Monday 26 September to Friday 30 September 

The ACT Junior Championship is our major junior chess tournament of the year. It is a three-day (FIDE and ACF) rated tournament, played with long time controls and players are expected to record moves. There will also be Age Championships for younger players held during the same week of the school holidays. See attached flyer or the below link for more details.

At the Spring Holiday Boot Camp, participants are able to partake in three different types of chess formats and receive top quality coaching from some of ACT's best coaches. You are welcome to join us for one day, or for all four days and receive a $10 discount when you book and pay in advance. See attached flyer or the below link for more details.
