      2024 ACT Winter Rapid Results
On Sunday 25 August, the ACTJCL hosted the 2024 ACT Winter Rapid which featured 39 of Canberra's best juniors. The tournament was very competitive and featured some exciting games. After six rounds the event finished in a tie between Nicholas Lee and Olaoluwa Fasakin who split the points in their game, but it was Nicholas Lee who edged out on tiebreak to win the event. Notablly, Echo Feng finished near the top of the event with a standout performance amongst players with much higher ratings.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event possible and run smoothly, and of course to our event hosts Campbell High School.

Standings are attached to this email.
      Prize Winners
1st - Nicholas Lee (Amaroo School) 5.5/6 (on tiebreak over Olaoluwa Fasakin)
2nd - Olaoluwa Fasakin (Brindabella Christian College) 5.5/6
3rd - Masaki Horikawa (Marist College) 5/6 (on tiebreak over Echo Feng)
