Happy New Year! I hope you all have enjoyed the break and are ready to resume chess activities.

For those interested in following one of Australia's major events, make sure you check out the 2023 Australian Open Chess Championships that is currently being held in Perth. We have a few ACT junior representatives competing amongst the best adults and juniors in Australia and we wish them all the best for the remainder of the tournament. 2023 Summer Holiday Boot Camp - Monday 9 to Thursday 12 January

At the Summer Holiday Boot Camp, participants are able to partake in three different types of chess formats and receive top quality coaching from some of ACT's best coaches. You are welcome to join us for one day, or for all four days and receive a $10 discount when you book and pay in advance. See attached flyer or the below link for more details. This is a great opportunity to get some practice before Australia's biggest junior event of the year, the 2023 Australian Junior Chess Championships in Melbourne.
