2021 NSW Open 

A NSW Chess Association event (not an ACTJCL or ACTCA event)
 Saturday 12th June    - Monday 14th June

Entries have now opened for the NSW Open, which will be held over the June long weekend (Saturday 12th -Monday 14th June) at The Russian Club, 5-7 Albert Rd, Strathfield, Sydney. 

 

The tournament is divided into two sections: a Major section (open to all players, ACF & FIDE rated) and a Minor section (restricted to ACF under 1600 rated players, ACF rated). The time control for both sections is 90 minutes plus 30 seconds from move 1. You can find all event details (including how to register) here: http://nswopen.nswca.org.au/ 

This tournament is highly competitive and is best suited to experienced junior players who are seeking to build upon their tournament experience.

Entries are limited to 140 players so if you plan to enter,  do so early as I expect that this event will sell out quickly.
