Please find below information regarding our next event, the 2022 ACT Junior Winter Rapid tournament, scheduled for Sunday 14 August at Campbell High School.

2022 ACT Junior Winter Rapid tournament - Sunday 14 August

Rapid Chess is not quite as fast as Lightning, but still fast enough to be fun! This ACT junior event is suitable for players of skill levels ranging from novices to future grandmasters.

This is a 7 round event played with a time limit of 15 minutes per player per game. It is open to all players Under the age of 18 years as of the 1st January 2022. Every player will get 7 games (no one is knocked out) and the event will be rated by the Australian Chess Federation.

When:	10am-3pm Sunday 14 August
Where:	Campbell High School Hall
Who:	Participants born or after 1 January 2004
Tournament Details:	7 rounds with a time limit of 15 minutes per player per game (ACF Rapid Rated). Nobody is eliminated.
Cost:	$25 individual ($20 for ACTJCL members)

Conditions of entry:	Masks must be worn inside the venue (including parents). Do not attend the venue if you/your child has Covid-like symptoms or are supposed to be isolating.
