This might be too specific for anyone to know the answer, but I wanted to see if anyone had tried out chalk markers on their chalkboard. It seems non porous, but I want to be sure.
Thanks if anyone has an answer!

Hi! Yes we use chalk markers and have had no issues. :)

I also have an Icicle Tricycle book bike and have used chalk markers with no problem.

Thanks to everyone who shared their experience.
I tried it out and I will say I'm getting some ghosting after I erased it, meaning pale shapes left after all the color has been cleaned off. We've tried water, soap, windex, and alcohol, and we'll try a magic eraser next.  It seems like the quality of the chalk markers you use make a big difference, so try a small inconspicuous area and let it sit for a few hours to see if it wipes off when you try a new brand of marker.
