Field Trips & Meetings
2025

Now through Saturday May 10, 2025. Hawk Watch at Adams Farm. Great action in week #1 of the Adams Farm Spring Hawkwatch. Hi Everybody, We had some migrating Raptors today, mostly Broad Wings with a 95 count. I started early with a lively NW wind in place. Consistent light to moderate flow of migrants in the morning with single or double birds. Joining me on this windy Easter Sunday were Eric Mueller and Joanne Hart. Mike Gebo also stopped by as a visitor and was able to get some camera shots of some of our Raptors.

Today's Migrants: TV-2, OS-5, BE-2, SS-3, CH-1, BW-95, RS-1, AK-1, PG-1, UR-2 (113)

Today's Locals: TV-12, OS-2, BE-3, SS-2, CH-2, BW-6, RT-6, AK-1

Today’s forecast calls for much calmer winds from the South 5-9mph with increasing clouds and a high temp of 63'F. Hopefully this will induce more Broad Wings to relax and kettle up and migrate. If you are interested in participating this spring, here is the contact information.  If you are unsure on days with weather predicted and no announcements are made, just contact me or Eric to get the latest scoop, Mark Morris 978-868-6354 mdmrem...@gmail.com  Eric Mueller 978-337-9150
