pilot process, Balfour Beatty Construction signed a company-wide
agreement to deploy Vela Systems field management software.   The
decision was made to leverage innovative technologies as a
company-wide platform like accounting, for example, and not to leave
it the individual projects to choose whether or not to use them. In
this webinar, Balfour Beatty Operations and IT executives will discuss
their decision to make field management software, iPads and cloud
computing a company standard.  The specific results of multiple pilot
projects will be presented, including benefits seen to project
schedules, man hours saved, and avoided rework.   The benefits of
cross-project quality and safety management will be discussed.  A Q+A
session with the presenters will follow the main presentation.
