Good evening my fellow Chicagoland clergy,

As many of you may already know by now, we are grieving the sudden and tragic death of our friend and brother, Bishop C. L. Sparks. Bishop Sparks for nearly 20 years pastored the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, here on the west side of Chicago. He was killed in a freak accident last night in Memphis Tennessee.

Arrangements are pending.

Please keep the Sparks family in your prayers, especially his only child, his daughter, Ariel.
