Growing Ecumenical Movement of Clergy Launches 5 Point Covenant To Save The Soul Of America

(Chicago,IL) - This Thanksgiving, a growing ecumenical movement of clergy from around the country has begun to organize and work toward national healing and reconciliation, as the country prepares for the transition of incoming presidential administration. On Thursday, November 26 at 11 am, a delegation of clergy will meet at the Dirksen Federal building at 219 S. Dearborn street to further the national petition drive and to call for faith leaders to unite behind the moral imperatives of the covenant.

Faith leaders willl gather in Washington DC during the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. weekend to tout the urgency of their message of healing and reconciliation. Their action will happen as the nation gets ready to inaugurate the 46th president of the United States of America.
