Hey everyone!!
Just a reminder for all who want to participate in the SHOE BOX DINNER auction tomorrow!!
WHEN: FRIDAY (today) at 6:30pm
WHERE: we will be meeting upstairs in the UU by the couches
WHAT: bring/make/buy a dinner and wrap it in a SHOE BOX (any sized box that will fit your meal will do)
** remember to bring cash to bid on other dinners as well!
- Dinners can be homemade or purchased. Be sure to provide a serving enough for one person (utensils should be included)
- Decorate your SHOE BOX by writing a poem, drawing pictures, or coloring your box! BE CREATIVE! Make it as attractive (or not) as you want, because bidders will not be able to see the meal inside each box.
- All SHOE BOXES will be anonymously auctioned off
** a microwave will be available to heat up meals
All proceeds will be going towards Saturday's UNITE SLO event, for the Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter.
Feel free to invite your friends to this community-wide event, and come to Large Group TODAY (UU220 @ 7:30pm) to hear more about it!
