JAMB Prep Announcement

Believe it's been over a year since I used this google group. Apologies for that but hopefully you've been following the social media pages. Have a few announcements to make and if memory serves me right, the 2013 workstudy class are all members of the 9jedu google group. Anyway below gives the full spiel of the first announcement:

Please contact Sodeeq Adeosun asap and give him your name if you have

• Registered for jamb
• Are willing to commit to doing 2 past question papers weekly (with approximately 4 weeks to go to jamb, that's 8 exams in total you'd need to do)
• Willing to share your prep scores with other students taking the jamb prep

5k stipends will be paid out if you answer yes to all of the above. Non 9jedu alumni who are current or past students of moor may also join the program though current students should contact Nurudeen in ND2  Comp Sci (copied on this email). You are considered a current student if you will be taking at least 1 class on Moor's campus this year. Stipend is not guaranteed for non alumni as I have no sense of whether I can afford it, but I have started a waiting list that I will visit post jamb. Waiting list will be based on how punctual scores are turned in (and first come first serve as a tie breaker)

9JEdu Alumni will have their stipends paid out soon as they give their names to Sodeeq.

What does this mean if you're currently participating in the work-study as a siwes intern?

• Team presentations are still scheduled to hold on Dec 21st
• Holiday break starting Dec 22nd.
• You'll be given homework as a team to aid in completion of your team projects.
• Provision will be made for internet.during the break.
• Work resumes Jan 2nd.
• Extension is optional. 
• You may choose to complete your work-study program on Dec 21st as originally planned. 
• Participants extending their work-study will get an additional 40% raise on their monthly stipends.
• Final stipends will be paid out by mid January,
