Hi,

And we're not so far into January that I can't get away with wishing
you a happy New Year. Happy New Year!

Towards the end of last year I selected the 97 contributions that
would be included in the book. I have now updated the site to reflect
the selection:

http://programmer.97things.oreilly.com/wiki/index.php/Contributions_Appearing_in_the_Book
http://programmer.97things.oreilly.com/wiki/index.php/Other_Edited_Contributions

The number and the quality of the contributions made the selection
process much harder than expected. This book had a far higher number
of contributions and contributors than either of the previous two
books in the 97 Things series. I would like to thank all the
contributors for their hard work.

Although the book is now pretty much done and dusted, and due for
publication next month, the site will remain live and is open for
further contributions. From next month I will continue editing new
contributions. In coming months I will also offer suggestions for some
of the other edited contributions. It is my hope that we can collect a
further 97 items into a follow-on book.

All the best,

Kevlin

Hi. I made some small edits in response to the discussion, last week I see, that look to have been dropped on the floor,

I suppose I established a small record by having 0 over 4
contributions published in the book :(
I hope I will be luckier with the next one.
Do you have any particular suggestion to improve the quality of my
contributions?

Thanks a lot
