Update on the work for the parking space.

Dear All,

Just to bring you all up to date...

The contractor doing the work to drop the kerb for the parking space stopped work on Wednesday after having received verbal abuse and being pelted with eggs.  We don't know who is responsible for this.  As it was an assault that took place on our doorstep (quite literally), I feel we need to follow up on this matter.  We cannot tolerate this behaviour in our building.  

If anyone has any objection to taking this matter further, please say so this weekend as I will want to move on this next week.

With regards to the work - Helen's father, Merv, was able to persuade the contractor to come back to finish the job.  The condition is that one of us is on site for the duration (I volunteered).  Work will begin at 8am Monday.  I will meet Merv there and Amrik who has volunteered to be on hand at 8am.  Shien has also offered to put in an appearance.  This support from the members of the company shows that we are united in our commitment to see this work through to completion and that we won't tolerate abuse.
