Hi Heather,

Do you know what's the correct Fire Safety procedure for this?

Regards,
Shien

Hi guys

The 93 Tenison building fire alarm system started beeping this morning, with a light showing next to the "CPU Fault" indicator. It's prompting for a password to view details of the fault/reset - does anyone know the password? I've muted the buzzer for now (I don't think this would stop the alarm sounding if smoke is detected).

Thanks in advance,

Laura Morley , flat 3

Hi Shien,

If there is a fault, we need to get someone out who can look at the fire
alarm system. It should be checked anyway and we need to find out how to
test the alarm, etc. I don't know who installed it or looked after it
before. We'll just have to do a search on fire alarm companies. Shien, do
you see any sticker, label or anything that gives a clue as to who has
looked after it or installed it?

I also tried to change the lights in the bike store (they're all out) - and
the 'spare strips' in the electrical cupboard are all used strips so they
don't work. I'll have to order 4 new strips and then I will replace 2 and
leave the other 2 for later so that the lights don't all fail at once next
time.

We will also need to start replacing the lights that are out in the building
as well since the downstairs in the back is quite dark now. We don't want
to be left completely in the dark! I'll aim to figure out how to get into
the light fixtures next time I'm there (Monday).

Yours,

Heather
