Good Morning!
As you may recall we did a screening of “Linotype the Film” at the BMI a few years ago to raise money for the renovation of the Mergenthaler exhibit displayed in the Maryland Milestones Wall. The fund raising goal of $10,000 was finally reached last year and the process of designing the new exhibit began. I am happy to report that the exhibit is being fabricated as we speak and the unveiling event will take place at the BMI on January 7, 2016.
In addition to the unveiling, Frank Romano will be on hand for a book signing of his latest book “History of the Linotype Company” and there will be a panel discussion about Linotype’s role in the dawn of the Information Age. Ray Loomis and Bill Schneidereith will join Frank on the panel for what is surely to be a lively discussion!
See the attached flyer for details . . . I am looking forward to seeing you there!
